The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) notified regarding the Centralised Portal for Registration of Bulk Waste Generators under the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, Goes Live.
It has operationalized the Centralised Portal for Registration of Bulk Waste Generators (BWGs) under the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, with effect from May 31, 2026. All Bulk Waste Generators are required to register through the online portal, which has been launched to facilitate centralized registration and compliance monitoring. Registration applications can be submitted through the CPCB's SWM portal.
