Labour ComplianceThe Board of Practical Training Eastern Region (BoPTER) on June 01, 2026, has informed all establishments registered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) that all Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) payments will now be processed exclusively through the Aadhaar-based payment system. With effect from June 01, 2026, e-KYC verification has been made mandatory for establishments to submit DBT requests and for BOPT to approve and process such payments. The mandatory e-KYC requirement has also been extended to contract creation and contract approval processes. All registered establishments are required to comply with these changes for smooth processing of DBT-related transactions.
