The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) on May 29, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Draft Connectivity Agreement (For Connection to Intra-State Transmission System (InSTS)/Distribution System).
The following has been stated namely: -
• APTRANSCO has submitted a Draft Connectivity Agreement to Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission for approval, covering connectivity to the intra-state transmission and distribution network.
• The proposed agreement will govern connectivity arrangements between APTRANSCO/APDISCOMs and entities seeking new grid connectivity, as well as existing users of the transmission/distribution system.
• The draft has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003, CEA Technical Standards for Connectivity Regulations, the Andhra Pradesh Grid Code, and other applicable regulations.
• APERC has invited comments, suggestions, and objections from stakeholders, including generating companies, transmission and distribution licensees, open-access consumers, bulk consumers, and other grid users.
• Stakeholders may submit their views via email or post to APERC's office at Kurnool on or before June 19, 2026.
