•Developed under the guidelines of national and state authorities, the plan assigns precise pre-, during-, and post-disaster execution responsibilities to local government departments, emergency services, and community stakeholders.
•Strategically, the framework implements a continuous cycle of prevention, mitigation, capacity building, and regular mock drills to ensure highly coordinated and rapid response capabilities.
•Geographically, the entire district is profoundly vulnerable to severe multi-hazard threats, most notably sitting in the highly active Seismic Zone-V for earthquakes.
•Additionally, the region routinely faces seasonal flash floods during the monsoon months, along with severe cyclones, destructive tornadoes, and localized landslides.
