Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on May 26, 2025, has directed all Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), State Co-operative Banks, and District Central Co-operative Banks to use the ENQUIRE (ENSURE QUeries and Issues REsolution) Module available in the ENSURE 2.0 portal for raising complaints, queries, and operational issues related to supervisory returns and reports.

The ENQUIRE module was originally introduced in December 2020 within the ENSURE portal to facilitate resolution of issues relating to user ID creation, return submission, report generation, and other operational matters. Following the launch of ENSURE 2.0 in September 2024, the module has been upgraded to provide a more efficient and user-friendly mechanism for handling grievances and technical issues.

NABARD has observed that supervised entities continue to raise issues through emails and phone calls despite the availability of the portal-based system. To streamline the support process, NABARD has now mandated that all complaints and queries concerning the ENSURE portal and Department of Supervision returns be submitted exclusively through the ENQUIRE module. A user manual is available on the portal under Support → Help Files → Training Materials → Ensure General → User Manuals for guidance.
