Labour ComplianceThe Department of Labour, Employment and Training, Lakshadweep on March 25, 2026, issued the Industrial Relations (Lakshadweep) Rules, 2025.

The following has been stated namely: -

• These Rules shall extend to whole of the UT of Lakshadweep

• Regulation regarding the Bi-Partite Forums has been inserted in the Rules.

• Regulations regarding Trade Union has been inserted in Chapter-III

• Regulations regarding Standing Order has been inserted in Chapter- IV

This shall come into force on March 25, 2026.
