The Government of Odisha on June 04, 2026, notified the Odisha High Speed Diesel (Dealers’ Licensing) Repeal Order, 2026.
The following has been stated:-
•The Government of Odisha has repealed the Odisha High Speed Diesel (Dealers’ Licensing) Order, 1979.
•However, provisions of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and its subsequent amendments will continue to apply to concerned diesel dealers.
•Cases registered before the publication of this notification for violations under the repealed Order will continue to be dealt with by the competent authorities or courts and will not be affected by the repeal.
It shall come into force on June 04, 2026.
