The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on June 17, 2026, issued a notification regarding the revision of the Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge to 15.58% for April 2026.
The following has been stated:-
•The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has revised the Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS) recoverable by Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) for April 2026 from the provisionally approved 16% to 15.58%.
•The revision follows submission of the required Statutory Auditor Certificate and Affidavit by TPDDL on June 15, 2026. Based on the certified power purchase data for April 2026, the Commission determined the admissible surcharge at 15.58%.
•Accordingly, consumers will be charged FPPAS at the revised rate of 15.58% for April 2026.
