The Ministry of Finance (MoF), on June 22, 2026, notified the commencement of provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 relating to the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 2013.
Through the notification, the Central Government appointed June 23, 2026, as the date on which the amendments specified against Serial Number 68 of the Schedule to the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, and the corresponding entries relating to the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 2013, shall come into force.
Accordingly, the amendments introduced under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 concerning the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 2013 became effective from June 23, 2026.
