Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on June 06, 2026, issued the advisory and alert module on the Ensure (2.0) Portal.

The following has been stated:

• NABARD has introduced a revamped Advisory and Alert Module in the ENSURE 2.0 Portal to streamline the dissemination of cybersecurity advisories, alerts, and compliance reporting by banks. The module follows a maker-checker framework, requiring banks to create separate user IDs for an Advisory Maker and an Advisory Checker through the Bank Admin account. The Advisory Maker is responsible for assessing pending advisories and alerts, downloading the guidelines or Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), implementing the required measures, and submitting the bank's response through the portal.

• Under the module, the Advisory Maker can classify each advisory as “Complied,” “In Progress,” or “Not Applicable.” For complied advisories, the bank shall provide the date of compliance and details of action taken. For advisories marked not applicable, reasons shall be recorded. Where compliance is still underway, the bank shall specify the expected date of completion. Once a response is submitted, the advisory moves to the “Responded” tab. If an advisory remains “In Progress,” the bank can update its status until compliance is achieved; after the expected compliance date lapses, the advisory automatically reappears in the “Pending for Response” tab for further action.

• The Advisory Checker serves as the reviewing authority within the bank. The Checker examines responses submitted by the Maker and may either approve them for submission to NABARD or return them to the Maker for correction with recorded reasons. Only after the Checker approval is the compliance response transmitted to NABARD. The Checker can also view the status and actions taken on all advisories and alerts through the portal. If NABARD subsequently rejects or pushes back a submission, the advisory is returned to the Maker's pending queue for rectification and resubmission.
