The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) on June 24, 2026, issued a notification regarding Additional Commodities for Storage in Registered Warehouses.
The following has been stated:-
•The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) has notified nine additional commodities eligible for storage in registered warehouses, including six agricultural commodities and three non-agricultural commodities.
•The newly added agricultural items include chia seeds, mango pulp, roasted chicory powder, kalonji, mahua flower, and karchura, while the non-agricultural items include di-ammonium phosphate, rock phosphate, and magnesium sulphate.
•These commodities must comply with applicable quality standards prescribed by AGMARK, BIS, FSSAI, eNAM, or other notified government bodies.
•Laboratory testing, where required, must be conducted by AGMARK, NABL-accredited, BIS, FSSAI, or other government-recognized laboratories.
