The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) on June 10, 2026, issued the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) 2026 syllabus aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The following has been stated:-
•The Pharmacy Council of India introduced a revised Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) 2026 syllabus aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
•The curriculum adopts a student-centric, multidisciplinary, and outcome-based approach with greater academic flexibility and skill development.
•It incorporates emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Python programming, data analytics, and digital healthcare to enhance industry readiness.
•The syllabus places stronger emphasis on experiential learning, including internships, research projects, and practical training to improve employability.
•The revised framework is intended to modernize pharmacy education and better align graduates' competencies with evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical industry requirements.
They shall come into force on July 04, 2026.
