The National Medical Commission (NMC) on July 06, 2026, issued a notification regarding the installation of CCTV Systems at Medical Colleges and their access to the NMC Command & Control Center via NVR.
The following has been stated:-
•The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges to immediately comply with its regulations mandating the installation of 25 CCTV cameras at prescribed locations, integration with a Network Video Recorder (NVR), provision of live feed to NMC, and maintenance of 30-day playback records.
•Despite repeated follow-ups, several institutions have not yet linked their NVR systems with the Commission.
•A list of non-compliant undergraduate and postgraduate medical colleges has been identified, and such institutions have been instructed to ensure immediate compliance with the prescribed requirements.
