The Department of Industries & Commerce, Haryana, on July 14, 2026, issued the Scheme for Financial Assistance for Skill Development.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Haryana has notified the Scheme for Financial Assistance for Skill Development under the Haryana Registered Vehicle Scrappage & Recycling Facility Incentive Policy, 2024, to develop a skilled workforce for registered vehicle scrapping and recycling facilities.
•The Scheme provides reimbursement of up to ₹25 lakh per annum for five years, subject to 75% of eligible net expenses, to selected State Skilling Institutions, Government ITIs, and Government Polytechnics.
•Eligible institutions must provide NSQF-aligned specialised training and train at least 125 students annually.
•The Scheme prescribes eligibility criteria, financial assistance through milestone-based instalments, and an application and approval process overseen by a State Level Committee.
•It is effective from October 21, 2024, and will remain in force for the duration of the parent policy or until withdrawn or replaced by the Government.
