EHS Compliance The Government of Chhattisgarh on July 15, 2026, issued the Chhattisgarh Fire and Emergency Services (Amendment) Bill, 2026, further to amend the Chhattisgarh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2018.

The amendment removes references to the National Building Code of India from the principal Act by omitting the reference in Section 2(21), deleting Section 2(32) entirely, and removing the reference to the National Building Code from Section 20(1).
