EHS ComplianceThe Sikkim State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) on July 17, 2026, issued clarifications on Online Application Procedures and Login Credentials Security.

The following has been stated: -

•The State Pollution Control Board - Sikkim clarified the online procedures for obtaining statutory clearances like Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate (CTO), and waste management authorizations. 

•It strongly advises applicants to strictly maintain control over their OCMMS portal login credentials and avoid sharing them with third parties to prevent corporate data misuse. 

•The Board explicitly clarifies that no third-party agents, private consultants, or cyber cafes are empaneled or authorized to submit applications on their behalf.

•Additionally, applicants are not required to pay any external service or processing fees beyond the official government-prescribed statutory fees. 

•To ensure ease of doing business, official video tutorials, user manuals, and a Help Desk are available on the website for self-guided application filing.
