The Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCRR) on July 29, 2026, notified regarding the CKYCRR 2.0 Go-live preparedness for Res.
The following has been stated:
• CKYCRR 2.0 is tentatively scheduled to go live in August 2026, following three phases of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving the CERSAI team and 57 Reporting Entities (REs), during which several issues were identified and resolved. Various audits, including VAPT, source code, WASA, and data migration audits, are currently underway, after which RE migration will begin in phases.
• Existing REs will receive test-bed credentials, complete testing, and subsequently receive production credentials; after their first production login, they shall update newly introduced fields and submit the registration form to access all CKYCRR 2.0 functionalities, including API, SFTP, and web-based access.
• REs are advised to migrate at the earliest, as CKYCRR 1.0 will provide only search and download facilities during the transition, with these facilities available for 30 days after CKYCRR 2.0 goes live. During the transition, REs shall maintain records of customer uploads/updates and upload them to CKYCRR 2.0 after migration. Once migrated, access to CKYCRR 1.0 will be deactivated, and REs shall ensure their systems and processes are ready for the transition.
