Finance & Taxation Compliance The Transport Department, Govt. of Haryana on July 20, 2026, issued an amendment to the older notification no. 13/15/2010-6T(I), dated September 29, 2017, related to the payment timelines and penalties for unpaid taxes on Motor Vehicles.

In the said notification, in the note, after clause (v), the following clause shall be added, namely:-

“(w) In case of new registration of non-transport vehicle in the name of women, a rebate in motor vehicle tax equivalent to 1 percent of ex-showroom price of the vehicle upto Rs. 20 Lakh shall be given”.
