Industry Specific ComplianceThe Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on August 03, 2026, revamps the 'TRAI MyCall' mobile application to assess voice call quality through consumer feedback.

The following has been stated:

• TRAI has launched a revamped version of the TRAI MyCall mobile application to enable telecom consumers to rate and report their voice-calling experience in real time. The app allows users to provide 1–5 star ratings, report issues such as call drops, echo, audio delay, voice breaking, cross-connections, delayed call setup and one-way audio, and automatically prompts users for feedback after calls.

• It also includes features such as feedback history on an interactive map and a Coverage Test to assess signal strength. Consumer feedback is shared with Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) and TRAI in an anonymised form, helping TSPs identify network deficiencies and take corrective measures while enabling TRAI to strengthen Quality of Experience (QoE) assessment alongside traditional Quality of Service (QoS) monitoring.
