The Department of Legal Metrology, Delhi, on August 05, 2026, issued the Delhi Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Amendment Rules, 2026.
The following has been stated:
Rule 11 in relation to Registration Certificate of manufacturer, repairer and dealer of weights and measures has been substituted.
Rule 12, in relation to Suspension and Cancellation of Registration Certificate, has been substituted.
In Rule 13, for the words “licensed under the Act and these rules”, the words “registered under the Act and these rules” have been substituted.
Schedules. In the Schedule appended to the rules— (1) for Schedule II-A, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:— “Schedule II-A (as appended to these rules)”;
(2) Schedule II-B shall be omitted;
(3) for Schedule III, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely: — “Schedule III (as appended to these rules)”;
(4) for Schedule IV, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely: — “Schedule IV (as appended to these rules)”;
(5) for Schedule V, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:— “Schedule V (as appended to these rules)”;
(6) for Schedule VI, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely: — “Schedule VI (as appended to these rules)”;
(7) for Schedule VII, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:— “Schedule VII (as appended to these rules)”.
