The Government of Rajasthan on August 03, 2026, issued the date of the enforcement of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Rules, 2026.
The State Government, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (2) of Rule 1 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Rules, 2026, has appointed August 15, 2026, as the date on which the provisions of the said rule shall come into force.
This notification establishes the effective date for implementation of Rule 1, thereby giving it legal enforceability from the specified date. All relevant stakeholders are required to comply with the provisions from August 15, 2026.
The move ensures clarity regarding the commencement of the rule and facilitates its smooth implementation within the State’s VAT framework.
