The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on August 10, 2026, issued a notification regarding review and re-allocation of allocated Export Quota of Wheat under HS codes 10011900 and 10019910.
The following has been stated: -
•DGFT will review utilization of allocated Wheat export quotas under HS Codes 10011900 and 10019910 and assess additional requirements.
•Exporters must submit CA-certified utilization details, Shipping Bill details, and requests for additional/surrendered quantities with supporting contracts/orders by August 31, 2026.
•Authorizations with over 50% utilization may be considered for further allocation, while unutilized quantities below 50% may be moved to the common pool.
•Non-submission may lead to reallocation of quota and debarment from future restricted export authorizations.
