The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on August 5, 2026, issued the schedule and guidelines for post-result facilities for students of the Class X Main and Second Board Examinations, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online for scanned copies of evaluated answer books, verification of marks, and re-evaluation of answers. Students must first obtain the scanned copy of the evaluated answer book before becoming eligible to seek verification of marks and/or re-evaluation.
The notice prescribes separate procedures for students who appeared only in the Main Board Examination and those who appeared in both the Main and Second Board Examinations. For subjects attempted in both examinations, students may obtain scanned copies of both answer books; however, they may request verification and/or re-evaluation for only one answer book (either Main or Second Board) for each subject, and this choice cannot be changed subsequently.
All requests and fee payments must be made online within the prescribed schedule using digital payment modes. CBSE has clarified that marks may increase or decrease following verification or re-evaluation, and revised mark statements will be issued wherever marks change. The fee will be refunded if marks increase after verification and/or re-evaluation.
