The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on August 11, 2026, issued an advisory against 2 Bhutanese firms as per para 8.07 (d) of the Foreign Trade Policy- 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•DGFT has advised heightened vigilance while dealing with M/s Legoy Powersports and M/s Druk A-Z Store, Thimphu, following unresolved complaints and lack of cooperation.
•Stakeholders are directed to undertake enhanced due diligence and assess transaction risks before entering into commercial arrangements with these entities.
•EPCs, RAs, ECGC, banks and other stakeholders should appropriately caution exporters/trade participants and consider the risk while processing trade, financial or certification-related matters.
•Any adverse experiences, payment issues or contractual disputes involving these firms should be promptly reported to DGFT; the advisory is precautionary in nature.
