The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on August 11, 2026, issued a caution to the public regarding Digital Scams and Misuse of the IFSCA Logo.
The following has been stated: -
•IFSCA has warned the public about unauthorised use of its logo by entities that may falsely imply regulatory approval or association with the Authority.
•Entities must not use the IFSCA logo or claim to be authorised, registered, approved or regulated by IFSCA without valid permission.
•The public should verify an entity's regulatory status through the official IFSCA Directory before entering into any transaction.
•Stakeholders should authenticate communications claiming to be from IFSCA.
•IFSCA has also urged caution against digital frauds such as impersonation, deepfakes, and other scams, and asked suspicious activities to be reported to it.
