PPCB notifies ROs for submission of effluent and stack analysis report to the respective industries or health care facilities

EHS ComplianceThe Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on June 14, 2019, has issued an Office Order to notify all the Regional Offices for submission of effluent and stack analysis report to the respective industries or health-care facilities of the samples analyzed from Board’s Laboratories and collection of pending sampling fees.

The Board has noticed that the Regional offices of the Board are not releasing sample analysis reports to the occupier of the industries or health care facilities and are also not collecting sample collection or analysis charges for the sampling carried out from the Board’s laboratory.

So, all the environmental engineers of ROs are hereby directed to carry out complete audit of office record of all the industries or health-care facilities falling under your jurisdiction with respect to releasing of effluent and stack analysis report to the respective industries or health care facilities and collection of pending sampling fees, if any, for the sampling carried out from the Board’s laboratory during the last two years (April 01, 2017 – March 31, 2019). All the ROs will submit a certificate after one month to the undersigned that no industry or health care facility operating under their jurisdiction is left, whose either sampling fees is pending or to whom sampling report has not been sent.
