The Jammu and Kashmir Pollution Control Board (JKPCB) has decided to extend the validity period for Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate and its renewal under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 from March 31, 2020 to June 30, 2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
