class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Lakshadweep Administration on May 17, 2020, implements revised Guidelines of Ministry of Home Affairs dated May 17, 2020 for lockdown.
As per revised Guidelines the travel of domestic and international travellers shall be prohibited except in cases of emergency or travel for medical services. Educational institutions shall remain shut and hotel shall be permitted to operate only for delivery purposes. Other places of entertainment such as gyms, malls, swimming pools, cinema halls etc shall remain shut till the further order given by the government.
Night curfew for the people is applicable from 7 pm to 7 am. It is mandatory for all the employees to download Arogya setu app, so that they can be aware of any risks beforehand. The guidelines are to be followed strictly by the individuals and in cases of violation, the individuals can be tries under Section 188 of the IPC.
