Industry Specific ComplianceThe West Bengal Department of Health Services on June 01, 2020 has issued the guidelines for dental services during COVID-19 pandemic.

The followings are the guidelines:-

• Temperature reading before any interaction.

• Installation of Physical barrier at reception.

• Use of mask, handwash, token management system and social distancing must be ensured.

• Use of e-prescription system wherever possible.

• No cosmetic treatment to the patient allowed.

• Contact details of all patients should be saved.

• Aerosol based products should be avoided until the local/State administration issues advisory for the same.

• Patient should be classified into emergency and Non-emergency category and proper planning should be done.

• Wearing of N95 mask should be used during all aerosol and non-aerosol based dental procedure

• Once the patient leaves proper sanitization of the place should be done immediately including floor moping, adherence of standard protection of infection control and other important health measures.
