class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Himachal Pradesh Government on July 9, 2020 issues the Industrial Disputes (Himachal Pradesh Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.
The following amendments are made in the Himachal Pradesh Industrial Disputes Act, 1947:-
• Under Section 25F(b) which specifies the conditions precedent to retrenchment of workmen, the words “Fifteen days” shall be substituted with the words “sixty days”.
• Under Section 25K(1), which specifies the special provisions for the relating to retrenchment, lay-off and the closure of certain establishments the words “one hundred” shall be substituted with the words “two hundred”.
