class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Haryana Finance Department on July 06, 2020 issued a notification for the freezing of dearness allowance to Haryana Government employees and Dearness relief to Haryana Government pensioners at current rates till July 2021. Haryana Government had issued a letter on April 23, 2020 vide letter no. 1/1/2020-E-II (B) specifying that the pensioners shall not be paid the allowance starting from January 1, 2020. The additional instalments for relief shall not be paid for a period of July 1, 2020 to January 1, 2021. Further, the dearness allowance and dearness relief at 17 percent shall be continuing to be paid.
Further, the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief for the above-mentioned period shall start after July 01, 2021. No arrears shall be paid by the government.
