The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on February 09, 2024, issued the notification regarding the removal of difficulties faced by Pensioners in availing of secondary/SST treatment.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The instruction of Medical Branch-I, Hqrs. stated in letter No. U-16/47/3/2022/Med.II/Raj(23552) dated April 28, 2023, is not applicable in the case of pensioners/ family pensioners who are members of ESIC Pensioners Medical Scheme, 2006
• Revised Guidelines for smoothening the availability of medical care to pensioners have been issued.
